Lexus Ranks High in Vehicle Dependability

Woodfield Lexus, the area’s favorite Lexus dealer, is proud to report the news that the luxury brand has earned the top spot on J.D. Power and Associates’ rankings of dependable vehicles. This was no easy feat considering the auto industry has reached all time highs in the area of vehicle dependability.

J.D. Power polled 31,000 owners of 2009 model-year vehicles to obtain information. Rankings were determined by problems experienced by drivers over the last 12 months. Problems such as peeling paint, noisy breaks, and faulty transmission were few among Lexus drivers, earning the automaker the number one spot on the list.

The industry average was determined to be around 132 reported problems per 100 vehicles. Cars purchased through a Lexus dealer, were determined as having a significantly lower amount of reported problems. Also revealing a low amount of problems and earning a spot in the top five was Toyota, Lexus’ sister brand.

The results of J.D. Power and Associates’ annual dependability survey give drivers one more reason to buy a car or SUV from America’s top luxury automaker, Lexus.     Consistently outstanding customer service! This was 10k maintenance service appointment. Service called me in advance to schedule appointment, explaining what would be done, offered loaner car for convenience and advised all was complimentary. I've traded Lexus SUVs for new SUVs at this dealership for over 12 years. Service just keeps getting better!

    Everyone greets you promptly and with a smile. The service team is knowledgeable and gets me checked in workout delay. Work is done professionally and I'm on my way asap. Normally, Tonya takes care of me in service, but she was on vacation. Joseph filled in just fine.
